Why the Alzheimer Society of Canada?
They've been the leading advocacy, research-funding, and family-support organisation for dementia in Canada since 1978. They fund early-diagnosis programs, run the First Link® support service for newly-diagnosed families, train healthcare workers, and contribute to international dementia research collaborations.
We're a Canadian-founded company building for a global audience — supporting them is the most direct way our work translates into work on the disease itself.
How the math works
Every paying subscriber pays $14.99/month (Pro) or $24.99/month (Max). Of that, after Stripe's ~3% processing fee and applicable taxes, 5% of the net revenue is transferred to the Alzheimer Society of Canada at the close of each calendar quarter. The donation amount appears on this page within two weeks of the donation being made.
For example, a single Max subscriber for a full year contributes roughly $15 to the charity. A hundred Max subscribers for a year — $1,500. Ten thousand — $150,000.
